Welcome to the annual Frue Plads Market – crafts and design fair in Copenhagen
Explore the best of Danish crafts and design. With the historical venue Frue Plads as scenery for new and established Danish crafts and design professionals, the crafts fair provides an exciting destination as well as a unique look into the world of Danish crafts and design.
Meet over 100 professionals within the fields of textile, ceramics, glass, jewellery, graphic design and much more.

Frue Plads Market opens on Thursday, August 6 at 12 noon with an opening speech by renowned designer, writer and photographer Rigetta Klint. Later that day at 16 noon, the market’s prestigious Handfuglen award will be presented to the Exhibitor of the Year. The award is judged by a jury of experts, including gallerist and architect MAA Marie-Louise Høstbo , textile printer, designer and artist Lisbet Friis, and goldsmith, Kaori Juzu.

There is free entry to the fair and lots of restaurants and cosy cafés in the area.

The fair is organized by Danish Crafts & Design Association – only members of the association may exhibit at the event.
